About PBA

The mission of Pleasantville Baptist Academy is to educate the next generation of Christians to impact the world with a well rounded, biblically based education.

The choice you make for your child’s education shapes them academically,  socially, and spiritually. At Pleasantville Baptist Academy, the faculty and staff are equipped to address each of these developing areas of a child’s life. Our school takes seriously the responsibility to develop children’s minds, but they don’t distance God from academics. They know that developing skills in young people is essential to helping them reach their God-given purpose.

Pleasantville Baptist Academy provides the perfect balance between the overcrowded and impersonal public schools, and the solitary setting of homeschooling. With teachers that care, likeminded peers, and a first class curriculum, Pleasantville Baptist Academy just might be the perfect place for your child.

At our school, Kindergarten through 6th grade are traditionally taught, using the Abeka curriculum. Students in 7th through 12th grade are part of our Abeka Video School.
