Ministries
Pleasantville Baptist Church seeks to minister to the spiritual needs of every group of people within the church. The ministries at our church range from age specific Sunday school classes, to annual conferences, camps, and Vacation Bible School. From infants to the elderly, there is a ministry at our church that can help you as you grow closer to the Lord in your spiritual walk with Him.
NURSERY
A nursery is provided
during every service for children ages 3 and below. Our highly trained and caring nursery workers will take care of your child as if it were their own while you enjoy the service

BUS MINISTRY
Our church buses service the communities of Pleasantville, Knoxville, Hartford, Carlisle, If you or your child would like a ride to church, please contact us at 515- 848-5887.
NURSING HOME
Once a month, Pleasantville Baptist Church holds a nursing home service at a local nursing home. Services include singing, fellowship, and an encouraging message.,
WEEKLY SOULWINNING
Each week, church members go out into our surrounding communities and share the gospel, and invite people to church.
Master's Men Regional Metting
An annual meeting for men from all over the Midwest to get together to hear preaching, singing, and enjoy food and fellowship. We strive to see men grow closer to the Lord and serve Him faithfully.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
At the end of each summer, Pleasantville Baptist church holds a week long vacation bible school from 6:00pm - 8:00pm each night. All children from the surrounding communities are welcome to attend this fun week of learning.
ANNUAL LADIES CONFERENCE
Ladies are welcome to our annual ladies conference, held each spring at Pleasantville Baptist Church. Ladies will enjoy fellowship, delicious food, skits, helpful workshop sessions, and an encouraging challenge from our guest speaker.
MID-WINTER YOUTH RALLY
The Mid-Winter Youth Rally is a new event at Pleasantville Baptist Church. Teens and youth groups are welcome for this one day youth rally held at our church. The youth rally is usually held within the first few months of the year.
